About the llms.txt Generator
The llms.txt Generator builds a valid llms.txt file for your site. The llms.txt standard is a plain-text file you place at the root of your domain to help AI models find and understand your most important pages. Fill in your site name, URL, and a one-line summary, then add sections of links such as docs, products, or guides. The file is generated as you type, so you can copy it or download it and upload it to your server. Everything runs in your browser, so nothing you enter is uploaded or logged.

Frequently asked questions
What is llms.txt?
It is a plain-text file placed at the root of a domain, at /llms.txt, that lists a site's key pages and a short summary. It is meant to help AI models find and read the content that matters most.
Where do I put the file?
Upload the downloaded llms.txt to the root of your domain so it is reachable at yoursite.com/llms.txt. How you upload it depends on your host, for example over FTP, SFTP, or your hosting control panel.
What format does it produce?
It writes a top-level heading with your site name, the site URL, a blockquote with your summary, then one section per heading. Each link is written as a Markdown link with an optional note after a colon.
Are the optional notes required?
No. If you leave a link's note blank, it is left out of that line. Links with no title or URL are skipped, and empty sections are not written.
Is my data uploaded anywhere?
No. The file is built entirely in your browser as you type. Nothing you enter is sent to a server or logged.
