Accessibility

Last updated: June 2026

We want ToolCreek to be usable by everyone, including people who rely on assistive technology. We aim to follow the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA.

What we do

  • Keyboard support. The site and tools can be operated with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link.
  • Dark mode. A light and dark theme are available from the header, and the site respects your system preference by default.
  • Reduced motion. If your system requests reduced motion, we turn off non-essential animations and transitions.
  • Readable text. We use clear typography, a large base font size, and aim for sufficient color contrast.
  • Labels and structure. Form fields have labels, images have alternative text where meaningful, and headings follow a logical order.

Ongoing work

Accessibility is never finished. We keep improving screen-reader announcements for tool results and the contrast of individual tools. If a tool is hard to use with assistive technology, please tell us.
